Dan Perjovschi (b. 1961, Sibiu, Romania) lives and works in Bucharest and Sibiu in Romania. Perjovschi participated in group shows including Aichi Triennale 2013; Paris Triennial 2012; Dublin Contemporary (2011); Freedom of Speech, Nbk Berlin & Hamburg Kunstverein (2010); Lyon Biennale (2009); the Sydney Biennial; Fifth Floor, Tate Liverpool (2008); The Magelanic Cloud, Centre Pompidou, Paris; the 52nd Venice Biennale; the Moscow Biennial (2007); New Europe, Generali Foundation, Vienna; and the 9th Istanbul Biennial (2005). Perjovschi received the George Maciunas Prize in 2004 and the ECF Princess Margriet Award in 2013 (with Lia Perjovschi).
